Welcome to ShareWifi, operated by One91 Network Pte. Ltd. By downloading or using this application, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the ShareWifi app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the app immediately.

2. Use of the Application

You agree to use ShareWifi responsibly and only for lawful purposes. Users must not:

Use the app to access, intercept, monitor, or manipulate network traffic illegally
Use the app to attempt unauthorized access to networks, devices, or services
Use the app for any harmful, malicious, or abusive activity
Reverse engineer, modify, or decompile the application

3. Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot & VPN Functionality

ShareWifi provides features such as Wi-Fi Direct device discovery, hotspot sharing, and a local-only VPN/proxy tunnel for routing data between connected devices.

Important: ShareWifi does not provide internet service or external VPN servers. All routing is performed locally on your device.

4. Host Responsibilities & Internet Sharing Disclaimer

If you use ShareWifi to share your internet connection as a Host, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for all internet activity that passes through your shared connection, including activity by guest/connected devices
You must ensure you have the legal right and authorization to share your internet connection under your ISP agreement and applicable laws
You are responsible for verifying the identity of users connecting to your hotspot, where required by law (e.g., cybercafe regulations, public Wi-Fi laws)
You must comply with all local, state, and national laws regarding internet sharing, data interception, and user privacy in your jurisdiction
You are responsible for monitoring and controlling how connected devices use your shared internet, including preventing illegal or harmful activity
The app provides connection audit logs (MAC address, IP, timestamps) as a tool to assist you — it is your responsibility to maintain and preserve these records as needed
Maintaining the security of your device, hotspot credentials, and network is your responsibility

ShareWifi acts solely as a tool to facilitate local device-to-device connectivity. ShareWifi does not control, monitor, filter, or log the content of internet traffic passing through your connection. The developers and operators of ShareWifi bear no responsibility for any misuse of shared internet by any party.

5. Guest/User Responsibilities

If you connect to a shared hotspot as a Guest, you agree that:

You will not use the shared connection for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose
You understand that the Host may monitor connection metadata (device name, duration, data usage)
Any illegal activity conducted through the shared connection is your sole responsibility
Complying with local laws and regulations regarding internet usage is your obligation

6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Some features of ShareWifi may be available through optional premium upgrades or subscriptions. All payments are handled securely through the Google Play Billing system.

Billing Terms:

All purchases are final and handled by Google Play
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
You may manage or cancel your subscription from your Google Play account

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within ShareWifi are the property of the app owner. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the application without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

ShareWifi uses third-party services such as:

Google AdMob (advertising)
Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage insights)
OneSignal (optional notifications)

These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

This app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Availability or performance of the app
Continuous or error-free operation
Compatibility with all devices, networks, or routers

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of ShareWifi are not responsible for:

Data loss, corruption, or security breaches
Network issues caused by misconfiguration or misuse
Damage to devices or data resulting from use of the app
Any legal consequences arising from improper network sharing
Any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized activity conducted by any user through a shared internet connection
Any claims, disputes, or liability between a Host and Guest arising from the use of shared internet
Compliance with local cybercafe, public Wi-Fi, or telecom regulations — this is the sole responsibility of the Host

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ShareWifi at any time if you violate these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
